Color change wrap project completed

Hi Friends,

Finally I have completed my full car wrap project.
I tool apart quite a bit of car, so now I Know my car well.

I did about 50% of wrapping and rest I gave it to a pro. Parts done by pro (both bumpers, both front and rear fenders, mirros) rest by me. It is a very tedious process, KarlFranz said in his project that you better give it to pro as its not a simple job.

Now wrapping Gallardo might not be that difficult but AM Db9 with all these smooth curves it was very difficult to get rid of wrinkles.

I did wrap all exterior chrome trim, front grill, interior door wood inserts, ski slopes, center console in carbon fiber wrap.

I had to remove CF wrap from front fender chrome pieces as due to small size and curves it would not stay in place, even when tried by pro.

Here are the pictures of car before, during and after the wrap project.

That came out fantastic! Love the color combo. Makes it look a lot more updated than the champagne original.

Nothing wrong with the original color. But then again, I may be a little biased...

None taken
I agree , prior color looked too mild (particularly in pictures) though it looks better in person. But new color looks really good, with different shades in sunlight vs in dark areas.

That came out great!

when you open the door, how far did you wrap the entrance?
That is usually the spots hard to hide wraps.

My intention was not to hide
I proudly announce every where that "I wrapped it myself" well atleast 60% of the car
But if you want you can do door jambs (look up Karlfranz's post) or have pros do it.
It's possible to wrap any thing you want but $$$ just keeps on going up.
