Question Panamera Turbo Heavy Steering

Hi guys,

Just got a Panamera Turbo a few days ago.
First thing I noticed is that the steering wheel is heavy to manoeuvre when in low speed, like parking.
But when I go over 20-30 km it gets lighter, which is ridiculous

Is this a normal thing for porsches.
I am coming from a Mercedes Gl, Cadillac Escalade, and an Audi A8 this is really bugging me.
I also explored the net for similar problems but found nothing about it.
I don't have any other steering problems like noice etc.

Can't understand why such a high end car can have 4 times harder steering wheel that an A8

Its really hard to judge without feeling it.
I dont find the steering heavy at all. Are your front tyres inflated correctly? If they are low, it will make it heavier.
They should be around 38PSI when cold (from memory)

44psi is what my tire info sticker shows. I do feel the steering is a bit heavy at speeds less than 10mph but I attribute that to my large 22" wheels. A friend's 2010 with stock 20" wheels didnt feel as heavy as my car.

Currently I am running on 19" winter tires.
I got the tires to 34 PSI today and the steering was still the same.

Also today I saw the liquid in the hydraulic tank was a little under the minimum but there was no alert or indication in the instrument panel in the car.
Can this be the reason ?

Regards

what year is your panamera ? it's normal thing.. because .. light weight steering is an option on panamera turbo old model.. if i'm not wrong on 2011++ PTT will have the lighter steering wheel (option)
