Exhaust

Hi all, I have modded several BMW M5's in the past and ovwed porsches but never modded them. On my M5 i have a full GT RPI exhaust on the car and it had a secondary cat delete. Is there soemthing out there for the Panny turbo like this, the X-pipe, doesn't mess with the secondary cat and curious if anyone else, living in a non emission testing state has done a straight pipe to replace the secondary cat.

My m5 screamed.. My panny with he acoustical glass and sport exhaust sounds like muffled dog... I know the v10 will sound different the v8, just would like to UNLOCK the beast the panny can be.

If you want it to scream, the best thing you can do is get catless downpipes. We have the Meisterschaft GTC rear section on our Panamera turbo and here is what it sounds like

panamera downpipes are composed of primary and secondary cats together so unfortunately you have to install downpipes. The other section is composed of resonator and h-pipe and than the sport exhaust muffler . I would not touch the resonator because it will sound bad and increase drone badly.Just go for downpipes , they will make the car scream , feel like Na , increase hp and totque and in my case decrease turbo lagg by 400rpm and make the powercurve wider and with more torque . I had custom made 3inch downpipes which are now for sale and want to get rid quickly because of new emission rules. After returning stock exhaust , man the car sucks , makes me want to sell it now...

Thanks for all the recommendations.. I ended up purchasing porschecayenne92's FVD 3 inch downpipes.. That with the sport exhaust should be good for now!.. now what to do next... does it make sense for me to do the plenum or 3 inch y pipe. I was looking at doing a tune and 20t upgrade..looking to get the car between 600-700 HP... closer to the 700 the better as long as the transmission can handle it. Also considering wrapping the car https://www.google.com/url?sa=i&rct=...82802644648650

Here is what I purchased: Merry Christmas to me

BMC Air Filter- Ebay for $198
FVD Catless 76mm downpipe: From Porscayenne92, thanks!
FVD Tune: $1000 with board discount, the reason i did this was if I made changes like 20t they reflash for free, otherwise Vivid was a great choice as well.
Agency Diverter valves: Vivid racing had a pair that had shipping damage for $184

Next: IPD plenum or Agency Y pipe.. not sure which would be better with my setup, plenum is cheaper. and possibly an x-pipe... Chime in you guys have been awesome!!

FVD found x-pipe designs lost power on Panamera v-8's including turbo

I have this unit on my turbo- sounds nice with documented 12 hp gain.

The factory X-pipes lose power on the turbos or someones like fabspeeds aftermarket part loses?

I think the next part I am getting today or tomorrow will be the IPD plenum or the agency y pipe. Can anyone comment on them with my current setup?

I went with the IPD plenum. Its a seriously engineered part that has been dynoed & flow bench tested.

I have IPD plenums on all my later model turbos.

I was going to go with y-pipe but to many owners complain of poor fitment when it mates up with the throttle body.
