Warantee Question

I just got a low oil notification at 8100 miles. Should I expect the service department to add the oil, or is it on my dime? What are your experiences?

Maintenance, not warranty. Add oil.

The amount of oil is probably right around 1qt. I usually have oil in my garage and dealer takes too much time to get in/out of. If it were me - I'd put 1/2 qt in and drive it til the oil indicator measures for you again (approx 11 miles)? Then see where it is and repeat as needed with the proper amount of oil.

I'd be most concerned about getting it above the min oil level asap though.

How it works with adding/tuning car when it is still covered by official Porsche warranty ? I mean for example is it allowed to add front lip, aftermarket exhaust, 22' wheels (which will lead to the use of tires not approved by Porsche, without NO, N1 ....), wheels spacers, carbon fiber hood and etc.
Does anybody has experience with a such situation or knows anything ?
