Down Pipes Advice

Hi All

Im looking at buying down pipes for my car.
Would these be the correct ones to buy?

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/IPE-Cat-B...8AAOSwYmZXMAYW

Can anyone with downpipes (catless) with a stock exhaust system chime in as to how much louder the car was?

Did you feel any more power from the car?

I currently have a Vivid Racing tune. Are downpipes worth the extra money in terms of performance?

Thanks!

too expensive for those bad welds. Go for fvd or supersprint . Yes they make a huge change , better spool , better torque , better top end. I cant tell you how much louder they are becauase the cabin is very good insulated but I can tell you that the tone is a lot deeper .

I run fabspeed wirh cats and they sounded good with stock exhaust. Do the x pipe to delete the resonator

If emissions testing isn't an issue Def go for it.

I would go catless but KEEP the resonator. Having both deleted may cause unwanted resonance/drone.

I have contacted Supersprint and can get these for about $1000 cheaper than anywhere else i could find.

What does everyone think of the Supersprint brand?

I have 3 inch catless FVD on mine... I like my exhaust loud, it is a a great sound over stock, but I am going to do the resonator delete as well.

When you put the down pipes on your car, did you nice much difference in power?

Power and turbo spool. Best paired with ECU tune/calibration.
