so if the car passed the PPI, runs good, and you like it, what the problem? I would trust a PPI over anything a vin search can provide.

My car will lose value for carfax's error.

Ok, so I am now going through this same issue! I’m just starting but so far both me and the dealer that is selling my car for me are getting the same letter from CarFax; it looks elaborate as though they actually researched the case but we each filed a separate complaint and yet we both got the same email letter.

Did you get yours resolved? If so any advice would be appreciated!
