Hey guys and girls
First of all as I am new to this forum, and new to Porsche (1 month ago) I got a pretty Pan Turbo (pics to follow later). Drives like a dream and probably ter fastest gasoline car in my town.

this day I did however encounter a pretty scary issue. I cant turn off the engine. When I turn the key to off it seems like the electronic turns off, but the engine wont stop. Continues to rev. I finally managed to force it off by pulling the fuse on engine controle system (32) in front left panel.
the information screen says "fault transmission", "check engine" and "auto start/stop turned off".

Does anybody have any ideas on what to do next? I was thinking to pull both batteries and let it stand without power for 10 minutes and restart it so to speak?
maybe its the fuse for auto start/stop that is burned?

any suggestions or help is highly appreciated!


***UPDATE as of this morning it is completely without battery. I assume some of the electronic have been running the whole night. Although it appeared to be finally turned off, when I pulled the fuse.

That s a first. I have never heard of this situation before. Subscribed.

 

first thought is that it s in the ignition itself. Not sending signal to cut off. 2010 keyless? Any mods or updates to anything recently? After the ignition you d have the DME and probably relays between them. This is going to be difficult to home trace without tools and knowledge specific to Porsche.
