Is it just me, or does it look like the right side taillight actually isn't fitted all the way properly in the picture, primarily in the upper section? It may be a "plug and play" electrically, however from the picture it doesn't look seated properly.....
The tail light lens on the right rear has a large gap running along the bottom edge.
I checked on the forum and realized there was no option to upgrade the taillights on the Panamera 2010-2013 to the newer taillights of the 2014-2016...
One of the options was to smoke out the taillights, or apply a red vinyl... but I had one of my friends who got stopped by the cops (i have to admit his tail lights were too dark)
I looked online and check those pictures :
left side 2010-2013 tail light, right side 2014-2016 tail light... how is it possible, I thought wiring was different
Panamera experts can you let me know if this is possible
Thank you,
The tail light lens on the right has a large gap on the lower edge between the red plastic and the white body.
If you go to the URL that a poster provided for these lights, it clearly states professional installation can be arranged, followed by them saying they also sell body kits, fiberglass repair kits, body repair resins, etc.
Anything can be done. These lights are not so very different, but enough to tell that one can tell they are not a direct replacement. I am sure you can find someone to do body work on your car. Will that be worth in the long run? To have 2014 lights for previous gen? It will be your call. Good luck. I am very happy with my lights, no plans to change.

I'm not interested in changing to newer taillights; what I said is that I was surprised that there is no OEM or aftermarket smoked taillights for first generation Panamera
For color changes, I find that aftermarket business lags very much. These are always expensive and almost never look as good as ones made by Porsche anyway. My preference is never smoked, but as we know your preference is different (nothing wrong with that). Good luck with your car and lights though.
This overall kit is grosteque , but what they did to the tail lights looks cool, can be painted or wrapped with vinyl then cut with knifeless cutter I'm thinking.
Thats actually not bad, gives me idea here. I will try something and will post up to see if you likie.
Will take me few days to get time to do, but may look good. We'll put to vote.
Thank you for the inspiration.

I would be concerned if the car was hit from behind. Will insurance pay to fix it? I had aftermarket mods and had to show that they will installed at the dealer at the time of delivery for them to pay for a replacement, for example.
