970.1 Turbo S

I am a long time stalker on the forum but first time poster. For those that have a 970.1 Turbo S, are you happy with the car? I am about to close on a deal and was just curious on your thoughts.

Welcome and while not a turbo owner, my 4S was night and day difference from my then S8. Are you asking from a reliability perspective? or overall drivability?

I have a 2012 turbo s. Bought it in 2014 with 6700 miles. Now have 29k miles. It is my daily driver. Absolutely love the car. Had the engine thermometer go (standard failure for that year) but was covered under warranty. Great with 4 adults to a business lunch or to flail it around country roads at what my wife considers "beyond excessive" speeds. Would recommend that you have the extended warranty because (like all Porsches) maintenance starts at $1k to take a look under the hood. If you can get a reasonable deal you won't get bored of the car anytime soon.
