Question Fabspeed Cold Air Intake -- Worth It

Hello Everyone,

I am looking to add a custom exhaust, custom tune, and debating getting the Fabspeed custom cold air intake. My question is does anyone have this intake and is it worth it? Or would I be just as well served with the BMC drop in filter?

Both options are definitely an improvement.

My vote is to go with the full intake, especially if you plan to do exhaust upgrades and a custom tune. You'll see a very noticeable improvement in terms of throttle response, power/tq and overall driveability.

I'd be happy to put together a package deal with a forum discount if you're interested

I built my own CAI:

Works great! Way less expensive, and much easier to get to the filter when it needs to be cleaned.

That is the oem air filter enclosure. I left it in place, but is not in use. I can get to the new filter by removing the close out panel under the car, forward of the p/s tire, instead of pulling the entire bumper. Are you confused about what I’ve done?

is it worth it? How do you like or feel? I know it is a pain to change/or clean filter with the OEM configuration. I did it last year on my 2016 PAN4, way ahead of schedule ... have a lot of time in my hand . LOL ...

I may do it when my warranty is out in 2020.

Thank you for your feedback

I have a used Fabspeed system if you interested. Recently removed from my 2013 Pan S, still relatively new "used" condition.
