Blindspot monitor system

I've seen several posts on the notorious blind spots on the Panamera and I've had many opportunities to experience them firsthand. I was talking to a gentleman who was selling his panny through the Panorama classified last month because he listed his car had a "Blindspot monitoring" upgrade installed. He told me he had installed a system by Brandmotion and he was very pleased with it. I looked into it and thought it was a very good idea so I found a local installer recommended by Brandmotion and had it installed. As you can see by the pics, it requires the rear bumper be removed and the sensors/transceivers installed on both corners of the car. The indicators are mounted on the A pillars about an inch off the dash surface. The system works very well and is as accurate as a factory installed system. The system cost $749.00 through the company and install was around $500 so about $1300.00 out the door. Here's the link to the website; https://www.brandmotion.com/blind-spot-monitoring/radar-blind-spot/radar-blind-spot-system-with-cross-traffic-detection-rdbs-1500.html . I'm very pleased with it and think it's a good solution to the blind spot problem we all have (if you do't have the factory system). Just FYI
