I never drive this car in the winter or very cold weather. It was in the teens last night and I thought I heard a strange noise while going over uneven pavement. I was able To replicate the condition by turning the wheel back and forth. Will it go away when I bring the car to warm temps next week?

 

sound like something rubbing, may you have some ice or snow in the wheel barrel area.
Hope you don t have summer tires on in that temp either?

 

deff nothing rubbing, car is garaged 100% of the time and totally clean.

 

That sounds pretty loud, what suspension system do u have? Air level or regular steel spring suspension? Is it still doing it constantly ?

 

either way it should not be doing that, I was out at -12 this AM and all quiet. I don t have the air ride suspension.

 

I have Air ride, it was not so cold today and I didnt hear it. I spoke to my dealer after hearing the video and he felt the control arm bushings are starting to go and that was exacerbated by the cold. The car will be on the way to warm Florida early next week so lets hope we dont hear it again. When it comes back up for the summer I will bring it in to them under CPO for possible replacement

 

your all good then with the CPO, just turned my CPO Pana in today off lease. Had to run out of there because they had a new 911 GTS (yellow) and it was amazing looking, LOL.
