pss9 noise??

I am a beginner at this so if I don't explain things in the best PORSCHE manner please understand. I had pss9's installed a couple of weeks ago and noticed yesterday that I am getting a KLINKING sound at slow speeds when steering left or right. The car is lowered but it’s on a very soft setting. It’s definitely from the front end. It seems just in front of the windshield. Has anyone picked this up before or think that the pss9 are related to this????

Thanks,

I found the same with PSS9's on my M3. The tech left something loose on the brakes (not sure what part), but even after this was tightened, I sensed more noise from the suspension compared to stock.

Thanks,
Check to see your sway bar isn't loose or something. With the added stiffness you've given the car, it may have come loose. Just tighten it up again if so... Also it may be your drop links?

How many times have you heard it, which direction were you turning and how fast were you going?

I heard this number of times and not traveling at a fast rate. I have not noticed it on normal driving speeds or driving fast. I notice it the most when at slow speeds, usually when parking the car. I almost want to say that its usually turning to the right that I notice this but not really sure.

Thank you all for your help.

I had similar noises with my H&R coilovers.

When I was ready to install my RUF coilover set, I had Rob at scargo install some teflon bushings to prevent any noises. So far so good...no noises...quiet as stock.

Give him at call at 415-485-6026 if interested.

i think we all experience the "clunk" only at low speeds with the H&Rs. isn't this normal for the H&Rs - they say it is?

H&R support says it's normal, but i don't buy it! I rode in Wilbur's car a few months ago and his car was quiet as stock, suspension wise. He was using the H&R sways and didn't even have any clunking there as many have experienced. Hamman7 has his car now, and I believe things haven't changed suspension wise.

Generally, my experience with coilovers is things do get noisier. First I would make sure everything is tight and go from there. Just make sure you don't have any loose pieces down there.
