Larger TB for panamera turbo.

I have head of replacing the TB on the Panamera to something bigger (I belive maybe the 997 turbo TB), but after reserach I haven’t really found any part numbers or write ups, has anyone else done this or know someone? I am looking for the basic concept of install like any other parts that need changed or maybe a part number so I make sure I find the right part. Thanks- mike

Hey what up Mike! Ive done it and it worked out great. Make sur eyou get new bolts as well. This is the exact part number..... https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/por...SABEgIcZPD_BwE

You are going to have to sync the throttle body drive by wire through an icarsoft, piwis, or durametric pro(rent from ebay)..

Looks like a worthwhile upgrade, but it does not show compatibility w/ the Panamera Turbo unless I'm missing something.

I'm going to guess a larger TB, just by itself, won't affect performance. I would guess that one would need a different manifold and headers to take advantage of the increased airflow from a larger TB. Not to mention the need for some sort of tune.

Oh yea just looking for the extra Edge it’s a turbo spec but I’m looking to open it up in conjunction with the agency y pipe. I’ve honestly ran out of mods I can do to the panamera turbo, only thing left is the pdk, trans tune (which I am contemplating). And larger turbo upgrade. But don’t think I’ll be messing with the turbos maybe be another car to go crazy with but I don’t really want to let go of the panamera , so I’ll need some time to lay for both.

The cars do not have "headers" in the normal sense as the turbos are integrated into cast iron manifolds. I am not aware of a company offering an ECU program with a file for a specific TB. VR and/or FVD maybe offers it?

Hey Mike! I got a great solution for you dude! Hit up ARD for a rebuild kit + 19t upgrade for the turbos..... and then these intercoolers are proven to work well...

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Left-Interc...3/292662372046
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Right-Inter....c100005.m1851

and top it off with methanol injection.... https://www.ebay.com/itm/AEM-V2-One-...oAAOSwq19XC292

Great find on the manifold link at ECS! Greatly appreciated!
