P0068 MAF/MAP code on 2012 base

Has anyone dealt with this? Does it involve cleaning or replacing a part? the car is still under CPO warranty but trying to limit wasting time at dealership if it is simple.

Whenever you get a numerical error code, check it out on Google. EZ/PZ.

The intake tract on these modern fuel injected cars is usually quite long with several joints, any of which can leak and suck in air causing a code.
Dealers are oriented towards replacing parts as opposed to fixing parts. This is the easiest for the dealer and most profitable. All too often the replacement part does not fix a problem, and the dealers' universal response is, "let's try something else." There is no mention of reinstalling at no cost to you the original operative part.
My advice to air leak-type codes is to do a "smoke test". Most competent indy shops have a smoke tester. Harmless smoke is ingested into the intake system and the tech notes where the smoke is leaking out. Again, EZ/PZ.
Had this experience with a Hyundai V8 which I had modified a bit. "Replaced" a MAF sensor and an intake tube. No joy. Smoke test revealed a tiny air leak on the shaft of the throttle body.
