Ruby red 4S diary

Hello All! Picked up my first Panamera last weekend. Loving her so far, no issues, great handling, speed and noise.

Living in Dubai where it’s currently summer with highs of around 120 degrees, so the cars here go through some punishment.

2011 4s, chrono, PDK.
42k miles on the clock.

No idea why the previous owner has the turbo badge on the rear. Annoying, as when I remove the turbo badge, the Panamera emblem will not be center.

Plans:
- Spray the wheels gloss black
- De-badge the ‘Panamera Turbo’ emblems
- Plasti-dip the ‘Porsche’ emblem on the rear in black
- Pick up some smaller licence plates that we can buy in Duabi to give it a cleaner look
- Get the oil and filters changed in the next month or so
- Potentially get the calipers gold? Maybe fluorescent yellow?

Suggestions welcomed! I’ll keep the pics flowing for what I do..

whoever put those badges on did a terrible job I would just have them completely removed.

I do like at least having the PORSCHE on the back, you could pickup some black ones and have them put on by someone with a clue.

Yeah I agree! I think I'll just keep PORSCHE and get those in black as you say.

yes that's a stunning color! congrats. I haven't seen one in that color that I can remember - not that I see all that many - Silicon Valley folks seem to be trading their high end german cars for Tesla's these days. No thank you.

A few updates. Slowly, slowly. The weather in here is pushing 120+ degrees with 70%+ humidity.

- Had the wheels sprayed gloss black, which has made a huge difference in my opinion.

- Different styled licence plates purchased.

- Pasti-dip done on the rear. Turbo emblem removed, I’ll get the Porsche emblem removed over the weekend.

Next I’m thinking about getting the calipers changed colour. I want them to really stand out. I like that bright yellow colour Porsche has, but doubt it would work well with my Ruby Red. Thoughts?

LOL ... I just picked the CPO 2018 4S from the owner who returned the lease car to lease a new Tesla in the bay area. You are right on ... I still like porsche ... I rarely see Red Porsche Panamera, it is a beautiful color ... I see many Red Tesla ...
