The EV replacement for the Panamera Turbo?

I believe it is. My only problem with it is: you can't get in the car and head out on the road without always considering your charging requirements. I'll wait several years to let things get solved in that respect, before jumping on board.

the Taycan is a bit smaller. The rear passenger space looks compromised a noticeable amount. It's still a sporty touring car though.. so it's going to be a valid replacement for at least some people.

The reason I own a Panamera is for longer road trips. I can get up to the sonoma valley wine country, drive around for a few days and then drive home all on a single tank of gas in my '13 S.
I would hate taking a EV for that because who knows if I could find a charging station half way through that trip that would be in any way convenient. And for what reason really? Not to save money if you are spending $100K+ on the car itself. I got the Panamera as a CPO for half that.

It still takes 40 minutes to get 80% charge. It takes 5 minutes to fill up with gas. I wouldn't want to be sitting around for 40 minutes plus the additional time to find and get to the charging station when I'm on a weekend road trip. For what reason? Makes zero point zero sense to me.
