water puddle under vehicle? motor?

hey all 2 questions

1) when im driving and I park i notice what seems to be a water puddle that forms from underneath the vehicle, is this normal? I checked the puddle and it has the consistency of water
2) over the last 5 months there have been 2 times when i start the car that i hear a rough engine idle and a few lights come on (PSM, check engine, etc). I just restart the vehicle and everything runs fine with no rough idle. anyone know what might be causing this? its only happened 2 times in 5 months and has gone away by restarting so its not something that is common for me. Is it because im not holding the key in the start ignition position long enough to start the car?

1. The water comes from air condition system. Normal. Smell it, if smells sweet, it is antifreeze. If it smells chemical, it is other fluid. Clear without smell is likely water from your ac. normal.

2. The engine errors need to be read with diag code to determine what they are. Without it, we will all just guess. My guess, spark plug misfire. Gets logged but engine light can go out after restart. That or something similar. Rough idle implies plug or coils.

Advice:
- choose between getting diagnostics for car, or taking car to mechanic. First, you fix it, second, you pay lots of $$$ to get someone else to fix it. Third option is do nothing and something will really break after a while, then you will be forced to take to real mechanic, and will shell out thousands, like 5 or 10 grand or more.
- determine what the car errors are (they are logged even though light turned off, which is good sign since critical error would force light on all time). Then act to resolve error, fix diy or mechanic fix.
Good luck.

thanks for the response, are there any scanners I can buy to scan it myself or must I go to a dealer/indy to get the codes scanned?

I use durametric with great results. Have same cable for my cayenne and panamera. Multi car cables more expensive. Free software though.
Dealer will scan but will charge you 60 to 100 bucks.
You can buy simple odb2 scanner but those cannot clear many errors on porsche cars.
