Slipping transmission

I just received my new 2020 Panamera 4s and am fairly happy with it. I did notice that when I come to a stop and then immediately go to accelerate, my transmission jumps up to between 1800 - 2500 rpm and then the car will start to move. If I stop for more than 5 seconds then this does not happen. I spoke to the service rep who first said it was because it was starting in 2nd which is not the case. I am planning on going in once this damn corona virus breaks so I can take the service manager for a ride. Has anyone else had this type of problem? Two other issues are that I can open the back with my foot, but cant close it and now it is getting a weird smell in side the cab once it is sitting for a few hours. Not sure if it is a Freon or what yet.
It does have some get up and go, traded a macan turbo to this. Hoping I can get the transmission worked out.

Thanks for any input
