Check Engine Light - Less than quarter tank left

It seems like every time I let the fuel tank go under a quarter tank, it would trip the check engine light. It's pretty annoying because I would need the Durametric to reset it. Or is there an underlying issue?

I hardly ever let it go that low, partly because a full fill up (prior to COVID-19) could max out the available credit card limit at the pump. But I do not remember getting a check engine light seemingly just from less than 1/4 tank. What code(s) do you get.

I'm not sure if the fuel pump is located in the Panamera gas tank as in most Audi's, but if so it uses the fuel to cool the pump. For this reason, I have made it a practice to avoid getting to 1/4 tank to prolong the life of the fuel pump. YMMV!

LOL
The irony of it all is that I had a feeling that this would happen when my fuel level was a little below half. My wife's crappy Nissan Maxima does this ALL THE TIME. She loves to run on empty.
So due to recent events in the oil industry, do we get money back when we fill up? LOL
