Amazon had some sort of flash sale I believe last Cyber Monday, and I bought a NOCO GB150 for around 50% off. I got to try the USB charge port but it does not support high output, (tried to charge my son's Chromebook but wasn't able to). I never got to try to jump start anything with it.

Costco carries a 4A Duracell charger/maintainer that is $10 cheaper in store than online. I like it so far. I now have 2.

I just pulled trigger on noco gb40. We will see. The 1000cca is BS though, no way this small thing can supply 1000 amps. Saw many reviews even some where they boosted cars that were in junk yard for couple years and worked fine. Guess we will see in near future.

I have a small Cobra booster, it’s surprisingly powerful for such a small unit

Don't worry about that. When I bought a LiFePO4 battery for the Prius it weighed 9 lbs vs 28 lbs for the AGM. BUT, it also has a built in back up battery if you drain the main one! You get what you paid for with regards to jump starting. I just wasn't impressed with the weak USB. (Hopefully yours is better).

Amazon Amazon

This is what you want. I've jumped so many cars with this thing. My neighbors van sat for 5 years, one hook up on my box it started right up first try.

It holds a charge as well. I charge it every 3 months.

Got a case and quick charger which arrived yesterday from Amazon. Haven't opened the quick charger package yet...

Please excuse the background.

I got the noco GB40 starter. Awesome. Did the trick on my dead batt. Looked for reasons to use and always started. Even f350. On first try.

Question: as far as charging the battery, where is the best place to do so? Jump points or directly to the battery?

I use the jump points under the hood. I don't know if it's better than direct connection to the battery, but so far I am happy with the results.

The NOCO is not very good. It’s overrated .

Thank you for sharing this video. Why did the NOCO start at such low voltage? Was it not fully charged? Strange...

Per the video testing, the AUDEW unit was the best.
