Non PSE Panamera S- anyway to get crackle/pop from exhaust?

I know in the PSE versions there is a crackle/pop sound from the exhaust....is it possible to get this from a non PSE panamera S (V8). In a certain mode (manual or sport) would it be possible to get this sound without doing any mods? thanks

Not really, with cats, resonator and mufflers. You’d need to delete some of these or get another exhaust

The crackle and pops that other cars have is mostly done from a custom tune.

+3. The CATS would have to go plus tuning.

Super Sprint or FVD. I have FVD 'race' couple with v.2 Akrapovic exhaust on my 2011 PTT. Sounds incredible. The louder cat-backs will provide more crackling combined with cat-delete. For example; I bought the car with TechArt cat-back and even with cat-delete the crackling were not as pronounced as with the Akra.

I (Literally) just got home from getting my FVD cat deletes put on my PTT. It already has sport exhaust, what a good combo.

The car sounds UNREAL, best Panamera I've heard, I like having PSE to "quiet" it down or full open. Flashed thanks to FVD, got another flash when I ordered the Cat Delete. I just couldn't justify the cost of the 200 cell cats, and I'm really glad I did not do the reasonator delete as it would have been too loud.

Thanks FVD! quality products

Not much in the crackle and pop department, but I have my Cayman for that

I have the FVD tune with PSE as well and was considering this next step... Aside from the sound, did you notice any real performance gains?

Biggest and largest gains will be had from tune and cat-delete.

Not really any noticeable gain, but I can sense there will be better throttle response but it still needs to go through 10 cycles to let the “brains” learn the adaptation.

On our GTS, running CA premium 91 octane in sport + mode would definitely get the snap, crackle, pop upon releasing the gas pedal. After I started mixing in 100 to make 93+ blend this went away, even in sport +.

That's a GTS. They're setup different than standard, S, Turbo and have the acoustic pipes from engine to cabin.
