2013 Panamera lift gate trim removal??

I know how to remove the Porsche lettering and Panamera lettering on the rear lift gate of my 2013 Panamera, but the black plastic horizontal trim piece is something of a mystery. My searches have failed to reveal if the piece is put on with adhesive only or has some clips which can be pried loose from the outside or has some bolts which must be accessed from inside the lift gate inner panel. I can figure this out the hard way, but I thought I'd ask first. Looking at drawings of the replacement part doesn't help.
Comments?

On my 2011 4S it was held in place with really strong adhesive tape. It also has 3 or 4 locator tabs that fit into the lid through holes in the sheet metal but they are not secured by any internal clips or anything.

Thanks. That's just the sort of helpful tip I was hoping for.

UPDATE Done. Warming (not too much) with a heat gun and working a piece of very thin twine along the trim piece coupled with a little help from my thinnest plastic trim removal tools did the trick. There is a locating pin in the middle and one inboard of each end about 75mm (I didn't measure), for a total of three pins which do NOT require access from the inside, just like you said. The worst part of the job will be dealing with the left over adhesive. Faithful wife is picking up an adhesive eraser wheel at the auto parts store as I type this.
