Hey all, recently the chrome trim around the windows on the rear door popped out when i opened the door. the whole trim didnt pop off just a section of it. I was able to push it back in but i can easily see that the trim isnt properly fitted now as the rear door chrome trim isnt flush with the door panel like it is with the front door trim.

Has anyone had this issue and how can it be fixed properly to make it flush?
Is it also possible that this loose trim could be causing rattling noises when driving or is that uncommon?

ill take it to the dealer to see if it can pop back in, is it ok to wash the car while the trim is a little loose? is it adhesive based where water can weaken the hold? or could water leak into the cabin while trim is loose?
