Angry TPMS Rest---just in case my experience

I changed the tires to Michelin. The TPMS took forever to calculate the pressure an was giving me the inactive message. I tried all types of tires, i.e. summer, winter, etc. without any luck to make TPMS works... I drove for almost 30 miles back and forth without any luck. I finally gave up and parked and locked it as I was tired and frustrated. 3 hours later, I tried it again with 21' all season tires as the type of the tires and it works in 3 minutes, just after pulling out of my garage.

Just in case if any one face this nonsense with resting TPMS, lock the car, leave it for couple hours to cool down and try again. This is indeed is different than my prior BMW 640i. TPMS works like a beast in bimmer.

This is definitely not normal behavior - maybe there is problem with sensors in tires - i.e. batteries.
