Whoops - posted too fast - coolant expansion tank leak should be the title!

Hi all! Went to dealer for oil change + entry & drive fix and noticed I'm having a gradual coolant leak.... dealer wants to charge nearly $1k for swapping out the coolant expansion tank, which is apparently the culprit. Noticed that the "kit" including tank/tubes/coolant can be had for just about $300 and the thank alone runs anywhere from $25-$125 online... I can't imagine the labor for this being more than an hour or two but who knows! Am I getting ripped off?

Let me know! Maybe its time to go back to an indy dealer.

It's common for the labor rate for a Porsche to be $150-$200/hr. This is at least a two hour job, so you're probably in the ballpark for a dealer.
