Thank you very much! Now I will have to find a deep enough 32mm socket and somehow grind it to 39mm outside diameter. Hollow pipe wrench is another alternative.

So finally the nut is 32mm between flats and it needs a very special socket in order to be removed!
1. At least 80mm deep (no more than 100mm in total length because of the engine mount being on the way)
2. Outside diameter must be no more than 39.5mm

I made mine @ the garage using lathe to turn it down from the outside then cut it and finally weld it to a 37mm pipe with a nut @ the back using tig welder. Several people were involved in manufacturing process...
I suggest you to order the special tool!

Could you let me know where you got the special tool? Do you remember it by any chance? I have this issue with my 2016 pan4 now. Porsche wants $1.2K to fix.

Thanks.

Engine Oil Pressure Switch - Porsche (948-606-213-00) . Is it behind the firewall? I am not so sure. This oil pressure switch is not same as your part with a special tool.

Thank You for your guidance.

I don't understand why this socket is special. Why not just a 32mm socket like this? I suppose I will have to go to Autozone with calipers and measure the stated max O.D.

Same as 4.8 Turbo

Hey, just wondering you happen to know if this same process would work for a 2010 4.8 Turbo?
