970.1 Front Bumpers

Hi guys, I tried searching this, and didn't come up with anything directly. So I figured the forum would know.

I've recently moved to the UAE, and have been looking at Panamera's. There doesn't appear to be much consistency with front bumpers across 970.1 trims listed for sale. I'd like to be able to identify them so that I can look out for potential accident replacements, mods, etc.

I'll try to explain in the pictures below. Basically I'm seeing everything from S trims to Turbo trims with this (what I assume is a "GTS style" front bumper).

The feature that I'm referring to specifically is the blacked out lower center section, with different bumper shape. All of the GTS trims that I've seen have had this bumper, but it's pretty much a coin flip across all other trims.

Can anyone tell me:
1. Is this an OEM bumper (i.e. 970.1 GTS)
2. Was it "optional" on some trims....I assume not
3. Is this an aftermarket bumper?

Here is a 4S with and without this bumper:

Then an S Trim with and without this bumper:

A Turbo with and without this bumper:

Then finally, every GTS that I see has the bumper:

Is this a common swap that I'm not aware of?

Thanks all,

There are 4 different bumpers for 5 cases.
1) S and 4S standard
2) S and 4S with Sport design bumper (with specific blinkers and closed side enclosures). Code option = XAP
3) Turbo with Standard bumper
4) Turbo with Sport Design package bumper. Code option = XAP
5) GTS = Sport Design bumper as standard, same as 4)

Thanks, got it. So the bumper cover was available on all 4 trims, however the side sections are closed on the lower trims. Really appreciate the info.

Welcome to the UAE (and soon Porsche ownership) - I'm in Dubai myself.

@allroadusa has given you the perfect answer! You should be able to pick up a 970.1 Turbo from about 60k - 65k.

It would be great to meet up with other Panamera owners on this side of the world. Feel free to drop a PM if you need help with your search.
