Issues with my '16 GTS
Hi,
I have a few issues with my '16 Panamera GTS and I hope you can help me:
1. The garage door HomeLink keeps resetting itself every month or so no matter which of the three buttons I program. When I told the dealer this, they said it's a security thing built into the system and that I am forced to reprogram it when this happens. Is this normal?
2. Rear electric spoiler makes grinding noises when it raises and lowers. Dealer said cleaning and greasing the struts/motor will rectify this without having to change any of the parts. Is this so?
3. Drivers door seems to have 'loosened' over the last month or so as I can hear rubbing noises between the weather strippings of the top of the door and the top of the door frame.
4. Rear passenger inside door handle, when pulled to open the door, does not feel connected to anything inside the door; you have to actually push the door open with your weight when the handle is pulled as the door does not open or move when the handle is pulled.
Thanks for any advice you can offer.

The dealer response is unacceptable. The homelink unit is probably faulty unless your door opener is having a problem which could ruled out a by using the door remote for a few weeks. BMW sells a coating that is used to address noisy door seals but my recollection is the seals are supposed to grip the seating surfaces so there is no rubbing that will wear through the paint or wear the seal. Maybe a good cleaning would fix it.
