Lower Control Arm Bushing Press Tool

Has anyone here replaced their lower control arm on car with a press tool? If so, anything special about the size of these bushing? Only my outer looks bad, figured I'd see if you could do on car press with these. Either everyone does it or nobody does because I haven't found much info on it.

My only experience is to completely remove the arm and use my free-standing press. I suspect you could rig a system to remove in place, providing you have enough access. A threaded rod, large sockets or PVC pipe could be used to fabric a simple press. Did something similar removing the rear wheel bearings on my 944 turbo.
