Bigger 20" tires

I like to change the existing tires on my 2016 PAN4s 20-inch Sport rim 255x40x20 front and 295x35x20, Turbo II Wheels OEM 9.5j x20 ET65 and 11jx20 ET68 with 15mm spacers all 4 to 275x40x20 front and 315x35x20 without spacer. Do you see any problem with this new tires set-up?
I just blew up 2 tires 1 front and 1 back. I am greatly appreciative of the feedback.
Thanks. Doug

Deezflip is infamous around these parts
They would be taller sidewalls and the overall circumference is larger that would slightly affect your speedometer...not much however, 1-2mph difference at 40-90mph.

I'm running 21's with 265/35 in the front, took a quick rough measurement...seems to be close to the upper control arm as it sits.

I can't say for sure but with a wide 275 and taller sidewalls in the front, it sounds like it will be a tight fit. You still may need to run those 15mm spacers to clear the upper control arms in the front however, but wider spacers and bigger tires will be more prone to rubbing the inner plastic liner at full turns. You may need to test smaller spacers if needed and fine-tune in clearing that upper control arm without having the tire stick too far out

Also, keep in mind when NOT using your 15mm spacers that you may need to revert back to your shorter lug bolts...if you've changed them

Thank You Deezflip for your feedback. My Tesla MYPerformance currently has the tire setup front 265/40/21 replacing 255/35/21, and rear 295/40/21 replacing 275/35/21. It was an amazing upgrade. Thanks to the Tesla forum. So I see the 2020 PAN4 has a 20" wheels setup with front 275/40/20 and rear 315/35/20. I think the rear is OK with 315. For the front I may go with 265x40x20, which is 28.3" in Diameter compared with 28" Diameter for 255x40x20. Bigger tires to cover the rim to protect curb rash and a smoother ride. Speed is a little faster. American tires may ask me for a waiver. I selected Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4. Do you have any feedback on my selection?

Many Thanks

I actually just found this!!!, looks like you'll be ok with 275/40...

although they are not specific if it's 275/40 or 275/35, but it does appear to be 40 with the looks of that taller sidewall

Thank you, Deezflip for your new info. I just ordered Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4, 265x40x20 front and 315x35x20 this afternoon from American Tires. The Tires will come tomorrow morning, I will tow my car to the shop to replace all 4. I will post the pictures after that. Luckily, I still gave the original plugs, I will have no Spacers.
American Tires store manager recommends I go with 265x40x20 instead of 275x40x20.

Many Thanks.

I highly recommend the new tire setup - Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4, 265x40x20 front and 315x35x20, NO SPACES. It is all good, I like 2

275x40x20, but American Tires won't accept a return when mounting since it is custom ... Tires calibration has some issues I will try to reset it. Next is Alignment @ Local Porsche dealer.

Inflation is sky-high @ Fremont Porsche for Alignment $700. I did an all-wheels alignment with Porsche 4 years ago @ $275. I need to check the alignment cost with other Porsche dealers.

Do you need to go to a Porsche dealer for that? I used a good local Marin alignment/tire shop for my last alignment and it's been fine for many years.
