Long Beach Grand Prix April 19th (NorCal Caravan)
Long Beach Grand Prix April 19th (NorCal Caravan)
Well it's almost time for this event! The fun was not so much the races, but the NorCal Caravan down south, Elliot's Pre-race meet/drive, and meeting cool people with sick exotics!
Lets get a list of Norcal folks who want to come down. I plan on leaving Friday night as I am attending a Superleggera meet/drive Saturday, then on Sunday the GPrix.

Hi everyone,
Please mark your calendar, Sunday, APRIL 19, 2009 for the 2nd annual exotic car event at Grand Prix of Long Beach (GPLB)!
http://www.gplb.com <http://www.gplb.com/schedule.html>
2009 marks the first year of a combined Champ Car / Indy Car racing series. Our event for the weekend will be an Exotic Car group drive to attend the main Indy car race on Sunday.
MOTHERS, one of the main GPLB sponsors, has cooperated with us again and provided a discounted group rate of $50/person! It includes seats in our own VIP Grandstands, pit access, gift bags and parking in a secure VIP parking area (w/barriers this year). As seen on the enclosed map, this space is off Shoreline Drive and labeled as the 'MOTHERS Exotic Car paddock' at Turns 9-11! You will also be able to drive out and exit the paddocks at anytime throughout the day.
** Please RSVP asap and let me know how many tickets you will need. Also, let me know if you want to pay MOTHERS by credit card, otherwise, we will make it easy like last year and pay cash at the meeting location on event day. There will be a morning caravan to the LBGP event with a confirmed escort into the event by the Long Beach police department. **
Feel free to invite fellow exotic car friends and please notify me so we can add them to the list. Final details of meeting locations, times, etc will be given to all participants a week before the event. Coverage from last year's event here:

Thanks and hope to see you soon for a fun day at the races!
