Are you coming from LA?

Route will be distributed on paper the day of the meet. We don't like to post the route in order to give us some sense of privacy when we are on the road.

I live in SB and the Bacara is very nice but theres nothing around there. Stay close to downtown all the resturants and clubs are on State Street. The Red Lion or the Biltmore are much more convenient to any night life. You dont want to drive 10 miles back to the Bacara with a few drinks in you. The CHP has a thing for Porsches and you could end up in jail. If you stay downtown you can walk everywhere. Let me know if you need any help or info. carl

Hotels...

Hey Guys:

I'm going to be staying at the Fess Parkers Doubletree Resort Santa Barbara. Most of the hotels in SB are sold out! The Doubletree is walking distance to State Street (did not want to stay at Bacara because it is too far away).

Rate is $304 a night. That's pretty much the best you will find at this point. The hotel is right on the beach.

If anyone else is staying over, please let me know so we can hook up for dinner.

See you guys Saturday!

Just stayed there a few months ago, really nice location! Right along the coastal drive and across from the beach, decent food within walking distance, nice walk to pier, GREAT ice cream place on the pier, you'll have a terrific time!

Btw, I'm bringing San Diego drivers up to OC Sunday for a cruise (See Sunday Feb 27th event posting), so if you guys get down by mid-day, we can hook up on the coast and head over to GMG--Fabryce's shop is having a Grand Opening BBQ, see my post in this section for address.

Dave

P.S. PM me and we can exchange Cell numbers to hook up if you think you'll be back in OC at a decent time mid-day.

Hey Guys:

Great run. The most exciting part for me was when we picked up the CGT crew on the 5 freeway. What an awesome sound. I also thought the ride thru SB was very nice.

As usual, it was great to see everybody. So many nice cars and nice people...this is what makes 6speed so special.

We lucked out with the weather...perfect day.

I'll post some pics later.

William, the CGT was just incredible.

Summer is on the way and I will be organizing two substantial events that you will be contacted about:

1. Summer Meet/Run/BBQ in OC - August time frame
2. Beginning of Summer dinner party with T and Friends - June

I'll definitely get this stuff together within the next 3 to 4 weeks.

Take care.
