Sacramento attempt to Build Something Like Crystal Cove
Sacramento attempt to Build Something Like Crystal Cove
Clearly Crystal Cove is the pinnacle of informal car meets. But a 300+ mile drive is not always reasonable...so there's some local Sacramento guys shooting to establish something that will hopefully be a mini Crystal Cove thing after a while. If you can make it, come out and support the first meet:
EuroSunday Inaugural August 27, 2006
EuroSunday will be a continual and informal gathering of passionate euro automotive enthusiasts. Old style and new style are all welcome. In time, we hope that our “last Sunday of the month” meet will mirror Crystal Cove meetings in Orange County Southern California, and Village Roast in Woodland Hills Southern California. This informal gathering will be on the last Sunday of each month beginning August 27, 2006 starting @ 9:00am and reaching into the afternoon. Please drop by and help us grow this event into something extraordinary! Join us for some tasty coffee, pastries, good conversation with some like-minded enthusiasts. This strategically chosen Elk Grove spot is spacious, very accessible to food and drink, and a fantastic launch for Delta drives and Amador wine tasting excursions. There will be lots of eye candy present so pass this invite along! Use word of mouth, emails and forums to get these enthusiasts to know about this and attend. Please contact Larry Stiver – larrystiver@asginc.com for any questions about EuroSunday. Early arrival (8:30am) is suggested in order to get the desired group parking.

Good idea!
I'm glad to see someone trying to bring this to Sacramento. Most meets are SoCal or Bay Area. Hopefully this really takes off. Something closer to home sounds good to me.
PS. I'm arranging a Euro Track event that will be held on two dates, Sept 9th and Oct 22nd. I hope you consider attending. Look further into the Events thread.
