Edit: Theres a track rental this friday (11/24/06) at 9am-5pm if anyone is interested in going. I will be there with some friends.

Once they told me I'd have to have a cage installed my car to run quicker than 11.49 (let alone in the 9's), or I'd have to leave....even on a rented track...I told them to pack sand.

I'm not going through all the work of setting up a track day, only to risk getting thrown off the track after my first run. I will, however, take part in a track day that someone else has set up, though.

Is this an IHRA or NHRA track?

At some IHRA tracks you can pass with the Porsche Techequipment roll bar, extinguisher and suit if you run between 10.00 -11.49
