I'm game for a weekend drive. Anyone thinking about it?

 

with the gf in HK till mid next month, i sure have plenty of time...and lots of extra gas money

which day were you thinking of, sunday would probably work best for me...

Just checked the weather, they say its going to be nice through saturday, but maybe rain on sunday.

 

Hmmm. I have no plans as I still don't know the area well, was hoping someone else would lead. If Sunday is rain, that might not work.

 

Couple weeks ago did a drive down to capitola with some friends, ~ 75mi of twisties and barely touched 101 or 17. Or we could just do something relaxed down and back on hwy 1 for 2-3hrs and stop for a few nice photo ops.

 

skyline blvd and 9 is a nice drive

 

I'm game, know of a lot of great routes. The one we did with the F-Chat group a while ago was fun.

 

I'll watch this thread....depending on what time...I would love to go.

 

I'll be back over the weekend from school. Big Basin to Skyline is a nice drive. Theres also Big Basin that connects up at the summit and goes all the way to Santa Cruz and comes out on 17 a few exits before it hits downtown santa cruz.

 

Perhaps we should shoot for Saturday given the weather.

 

Goin to Tahoe Friday/Saturday.. chase me there ;-)

Alternatively, we just plan for Sunday and hope that the weather holds up.
