Thumbs up Another Bay Area Event Meet/Track - Thunderhill August 9th

Ok guys! With the great success we had at our First Annual Bay Area meet, I don't think I can wait 1 year.

So I have spoken with my friend who runs Unlimited Laps and he is willing to give us Porsche Owners the session he has reserved on August 9th at Thunderhill Raceway This would be ONLY P-cars!

The date is on a Monday though but I don't see that as being a problem. A day off for tracking is well worth it.

So here is what I am thinking. We can make it a 2 day event. Sunday is for a scenic drive (Napa Valley) and Monday is ALL TRACK!

For those who havn't tracked I strongly recommend it.

The cost per person is around $250. If we can line up some sponsors the cost would go down of course.

Please let me know if this is of interest for you and friends. I would like to LOCK DOWN this day so we can start having our committee for an even more successful Bay Area Meet/Track Event.

Thanks,
Fred

This sounds like fun Time to start making arrangements - Perhaps spending a night in Napa would work? Dinner at a winery? This opens up lots of options.

Don't you remember a small open cockpit car passing you at Laguna (turn 2) (: (:

Hey Arnould, I remember that car from my rearview mirror at Laguna Seca

This type of car would be cool to have with other porsches. So yes you can come with it for sure.

A plus tard.

I'm In!

Fred,

I will definitely attend and look forward to another great P-car meet. If it is okay with you I might also invite my good friend and mentor, Gary Myers, who raced Porsches for 20 years, but is driving a Prowler now. He is a very good driver and served as my copilot at Sears today, helping me get my times down to 2:00 on street tires!

Brian - GT2

Fred,

I just learned that GMyers w/Yellow Prowler will be traveling and not able to attend, but I will be there with my GT2.

Thanks.
