I would appreciate your reponse regarding setting up an event at Moroso racetrack (road course & drag strip) sometime in April.

Please let me know if you would be interested in attending so I can work out the logistics.

I was thinking we can arrive on saturday morning and depart on sunday.

Please let me know your coments or suggestions.

 

I am already planning on going to Rennsport on April 23rd so I have used up my free-pass from the wife for the quarter.

I would probably come over for the social aspect, not sure if I would drive Moroso though. Not really a big fan of the large curbing and lack of runoff space.

Are you looking to set up a private track day or run with a larger DE group. If you do not get a lot of interest for a private track event, perhaps it would be worthwhile to coordinate a DE weekend with one of the PCA regions. That way you would not have to worry about getting X number of people in order to keep the costs down. I know Suncoast PCA is doing a DE at Sebring on April 4th and Goldcoast PCA is doing a DE at Sebring on May 15th. I would be more apt to run Sebring than Moroso.

 

I might be buying a house right down the street for the track so count me in for the drag racing {i think i may try dragging the cayenne } part, but not the road course.

Orli, I will be sponsering a driving event at Homestead in June with the PDC-NASA club. The orginizers are giving me cart blanche on what I want to do. Maybe 6-speedonline could be involved as well.

Moroso for me , is not that great. As a track and for comfort. No paddocks or proper shelters. I will be instructing there this weekend because they overbooked students and some instructors bailed last minute.

Orlando, I'm doing the NASA DE event at Moroso tomorrow, but am pretty sure its going to be a one shot deal for me at that track. I'd prefer Sebring and/or Homestead, as others have suggested.

Well shortly after we moved down here in Jan our friends told us it would only take a few months after we got settled for the relatives to start calling. Well, it's happened, so we're booked for several of the weekends and the Cab will be picked up last week in Apr to head North.
