I have the run completed for the May 6 D&D... I could couple that with my "Scenic Maryland" tour that I'm running for the Chesapeake Region PCA and it would give us a very nice day on the road... At least 3 or more hours... What do you think?

I never get enough driving if the roads are right... Anyway, just a thought... Some were talking about going to Solomons Island... That's a long way down and a lot more than 3 hours of total driving...

I can wittle down a nice run out of Rockville to about 1.5-2 hours... When starting in Rockville the 1st 10-20 minutes are spent getting off the main traffic routes... That's why I prefer to start in Germantown... Maybe the next one from there...

I think people are confusing the Solomans Island idea (for mid may, which we meet up way east of the city first) with our little cars and coffee meet. We do the Rockville meets every couple of weeks just to shoot the s#$t, and talk cars. Sometimes there's a drive afterwards, sometimes there isn't.

So many discussions on the same thread... Easy for an old guy to get confused...

I have the May 6 Tour route completed and I'll be making another run of it on Sunday... If anyone wants to follow along, you're more than welcome... I think you'll like the route...

The tour route I have planned out covers W & NW Montgomery Co with a bit of Frederick Co. sprinkled in over some very challenging roads... How long it will last depends on what everyone is up for... Me, I could drive all day long... I'll leave it up to the group...

Try making it out brother. It'll be great to see you again and get some Moby's afterwards maybe.
