GREAT SHOTS man!!! They look terrific. It was FANTASTIC seeing everyone out at the starbuck's and also those who had the opportunity to go for the run.

Ken - Thanks for putting the run together. I obviously, as well as a couple other folks received some scar wounds in terms of a bent rim from the run, but nothing that can't be fixed and ready for the next run.

Ahmad - Great meeting you too brother. Your benz is smokin. Wish I could have seen you at the HIN, but definitely next time!!

Wade - Your CL is a SLEEPER son!!!! That thing is mean. The vacuum suction that results from you flying by. I thought I was being sucked into a black hole when you passed me on 270.

TraderHal - Great seeing you at the Starbuck's. Hopefully you can make the next meet to ride on out with us.

lax01 - Gorgeous M3. You gotta keep an eye out for those Montgomery County Cops on 270. I thought you were cooked as soon as you got on 270.

For anyone else I met, but did not get your screen name or forgot to mention, I'm sorry, but I'm looking forward to the next event. Gotta get that rim fixed ASAP!!!!

I have to say this was the most fun i have had driving in a while. It was great to meet everyone and puts some names to faces. Traderhal i hope u make it away from your 200 person fully staffed office staff to come for a run next time Chris from Cali, did you dip out early as we got on the highway dude, we have to hook up again. Remind me not to **** you off, you have arms the size of my thigh It was an awesome showing of vehicles and hope we can do it again soon!!

Great time today fellas. I ducked out in Urbana at the 270 Interchange. I'm up in Fredneck so it just seemed like the right time to bail..plus I was BBQ'ing for some friends at 2:00 anyhow.

Boochook your exhaust is sick dude. I turned my stereo off about 2 miles into the ride just to hear that sweet music.

Thanks to Ken for putting the drive together. See you boys (and girls) next time.

 

It was great meeting everyone today... I'm going to tweak the route prior to the May 6th run... I didn't like the new pothole on Black Rock Rd and that's a shame because it's one of the most scenic roads... I also didn't like the new paving on RT109... Neither existing last Sunday when Gina and I last ran the route... Nothing you can do about the bicycles... Gina said they were all over the road today on her tour also...

Also, on May 6th we will have the radios with an 18 mile range... Gina took them today on the MINI tour... We will put the radios in the front, middle and tail of the convoy... That way the lead car can warn others and the tail can keep in touch... If you have 2-way radios, bring them, then we can all tune to the same channel...

Lots of beautiful cars today... May 6th we end up back in Gaithersburg at Roy's Place... I can't wait...

Thanks buddy. My wife is constantly yelling at me as to why I listen to the music so loud and I tell her b/c I can't hear it over the exhaust. It is a sick sound. Would everyone be up to meet in the Frederick Area for the tour in June??? I think the best meeting place is probably right off 270 in Urbana... Starting a tour from there would be awesome with little or no traffic, outstanding roads and fantastic scenery...

What do you think???

 

Kind of far for me coming from the Nissan Pavilion area, unless we plan on riding back towards VA/DC.

AND YEAH, I thought I was F**KED by that cop...I didn't even see him when I checked my mirrors and then like POOF he was there...I just got LUCKY...I thought he was going to grille when he went past, but he just flew past me...so freaking lucky...
