I am a little partial to Naples because that is were I reside. Also, I would like to submit these ideas.

>Buckingham Autocross at the airpark

>The Beached Dub
"German Car GTG"

>Fine dining and access to nice golf courses and only a few minutes to Aligator Alley.

>Two Ritz Caraltons
The Beach Resort and Golf Resort

>Areas to hold a Concours style GTG

and more. Please let me know if you are considering an event here. I can work on getting event permits pulled and locations selected for any GTG>

hey Matt,

Any help you would be willing to provide would be appreciated. Sounds like you have put on such events down here before. Perhaps you and I should get together and talk about some of the venues and perhaps scout around a bit. I was thinking the Ritz on the beach or the Registry... but I do not think either location really has much of parking lot that we could use for an event. We just need to know when, where, and how many...

Why not Orlando? It's right in the middle and the shortest drive for everyone. Maybe we could do something at the Disney track.

We have done Orlando , Fl twice. I think a change would be better. Thats why I am suggesting Naples.

Boca Raton isnt included in the poll, but if you have it there, I can bring our silver Gt2!

Anyway, Boca is the middle point of orlando, miami and naples, plus, it has beautiful areas to drive, the cops are fairly cool, and traffic isnt too bad.

I vote for BOCA!

Boca or Naples.. I think who ever is ready to run with things "now" as far as details/ logistics etc... should have the edge. Lets getting the ball rolling so people can block those dates to attend...

The love bug season comes about in mid-July to September. I would just need a head count and how many days for the event. The weekend of the Beached Dub is going to be on the 20th. Hotels are running at a 30% occupancy so booking shouldnt be a problem and pending which hotel, you can ask for reserved parking for an event. Any who... I am gonna get with Sloth to get a date set. I am looking forward to this event.

Boca would shave at least an hour of my drive time from Jacksonville so I am up for that. I assume there are some nice resports that would love to accomodate such a stunning crowd as ours? Something nice out on the lawn under the trees would be killer... any ideas?

It will add an hour to mine.... LOL

I'm up for whatever they choose. I do think like Rob stated, that whomever is doing the planning should choose..
