The South Florida Crew is making arrangements for the next regional event. Please vote on the location. Please send in comments on what kind of venue. Also, is anyone interested in tracking their car?

I vote for naples. It's a better destination for driving easy parking.
Yet the ricers would prefer Miami, Based on the turn out at
Rennsport, 20 turbos= 40 headlights thats a good score.
I still vote Naples.

I would love to see something in Naples, it would be nice to not have to go anywhere. If we do it Naples I will help however I can to make it happen. Obviously more to do in Miami, but Naples does have its moments and we might be able to get a nice sunset photoshoot somewhere.
Hook up with the details about the possible track event. Are you guys looking to rent the track just for 6speeders or do it in conjunction with a driving group like Chin Motorsport, PCA, PBOC, or NASA?

Hey Ed... no tracks down here unless you count the dog track and the Immokalee Regional Raceway 1/8 mile drag strip. Sebring, Moroso, and Homestead are all within 150 miles from here.

I would like this event to take place sometime towards the end of May or begining of June. Please respond with comments on dates.

Just mind the alligator speed bumps.What dates are you guys talking about for either venue? I might suggest early June before the S. FL dog days of summer really set in.

I like Orlando only because so far we have had good turnouts... I have to drive no matter where we have it since your not all coming to Tampa/Clearwater....
If you go that far south you may lose the Jacksonville crew...

FYI, driving times to Naples (assuming normal driving)...
Jacksonville 5.5hrs
Gainesville and Daytona 4hrs
Orlando 3.5hrs
Tampa 2.5 hrs
Miami 2hrs... 45 minutes for the Miami gang

As far as dates go: The last week of May is Memorial, but since some other of our members have prior engagements, how about the first or second weekend of JUNE.
BTW, Andrew (Detailer) suggested having this event in Boca Raton at the country club.
I want to make this as accesible to everyone in Florida.
