He's hysterical. Always like that. He and his girlfriend had a great time meeting everyone. I'm sure I can get him and his brother out to another event soon. When's the next one guys???

LOL@ potomac, mexico......that one road was nuts with the "whoopdy doos"...I was thinking your girl was going to hurl, she a trooper for sure as my girl REFUSES to go on another run, sorry it was kind of an impromptu run since everyone split but some nice county to see nonetheless

She was just sitting there reading her celebrity garbage magazine and then every few minutes she would raise her head see the speedo/roads and scream "I dont want to die" I ignore and repeat. Hilarious. Her logic is that if she is there then I will be safer. We will just let her think that...
. I tested the 2 on the way home (boost hesitation on the way to the event) and had her WOT in fourth and fifth and my wife stiffens up like a board and remains silent. I did see a little cringe when we hit a slight curve doing a buck-forty. Strange dude, the hesitation at WOT in fifth is gone. I don't know if it was the engine operating temperature or the plugs, not sure, but it's gone. When it cools down a little on Wednesday, I'll take her out again for another test, alone.

The drive was a lot of fun after the meet. It seemed like we had a plan before starting out but as soon as we hit 495 all plans went out the window. A few of us had a short run from tysons to reston to fairfax. When is the next meet?

Yeah I know what you mean, I think bc bull was the leader and we didnt know he was going 95N. Still fun though, 495 was wide open for a strech, awesome!

ALSO...as we all noticed the organization wasn't too well planned this time with all the craziness and the immediate racing going on....
Here is another event that should be a lot of fun...Is anybody going, does anyone want to meet up first?

Its in manassas VA but its supposed to be really good every time they have it...mostly imports show up and some bimmers but we can have some major presence if we roll in there with 10-20 6speed members with exotics

This meet is organized in conjunction with the good people at s2ki.com. They are expecting at least 30 cars so lets make a good showing for the BMW community.
When:
Saturday evening - October 27th
Where:
Pre-meet at 4:00 PM
Sams Club in Williamstown NJ
2080 NO. BLACKHORSE PIKE WILLIAMSTOWN , NJ 08094
(AC Expressway is less than a mile from Sam's)
Driving on the Expressway:
Please, NO STUPIDITY. NO CUTTING THRU TRAFFIC IF CONGESTED. We don't want people to call in the cops on us on the way there. NO TAKING UP ALL THREE LANES. That's not to say you can't have fun, just please use common sense about it and be mature drivers. If you plan on crusing the speed limit, stay to the right, if you need to pass, use the left. I would like us to try to stick in one lane if possible. We will try to allow those that has radar detectors to lead and the rest follows....
NO RACING! NO RACING WITH THE S2K group. Stupidity will not be tolerated!
Parking:
We will be in the Borgata's main parking garage or surface parking depending on how crowded it is. Preferably we all park on the same floor and stick together. Parking is $5 for card members and $8 for the rest. The garage parking has plenty of light for nice pictures so bring your SLRs.
So why:
Borgata is one of the nicest casinos in AC and its a nice ride to the shore while the weather will still be mild. There are plenty to do and hang out and not to mention Borgata has (god there is no politically correct to say this but...) a lot of hot chicks. They also have poker tables there too!
Rooms:
This might be a possibility, but it won't be cheap. Can somebody with connections to see if we can get some sort of group rates? Staying is recommend for those single guys (since there are lots of possibilities there).
Anybody want to hit that up? We can start down here and meet them up in NJ...

I had a great time. I hope to see you guys on the next one. Here are some pics I took. The highway shots are some of the ones that came out ok, not bad for guessing.
