shame this conflicts with the PCA GGL Thunderhill DE/TT event the same weekend, as there is a good chance I will be going to that, but I won't know for sure, I still have to go through the Ground School and get my PCA membership finalized. But just wanted to let you know.

hey folks after talking with Gail (Luis Aldaz' long-time partner) we thought it would be appropriate to dedicate the whole event in memory of our favorite and sadly departed friend Luis Aldaz. It has been almost exactly 6months since he's passed. There is no doubt he would have been the first person on the list and of course the loudest. Gail had the nice idea of us putting a small decal on in memory of him and so we'll be handing those out for you to place on your windows.

I'm really hoping that all of us that sign up, would show and won't flake. The only excuse that is acceptable is you can't make it coz' of RMS leak

 

What about the fact that I might be at Thunderhill doing what a Porsche is designed to do, isn't that a good enough excuse not to make it

But don't count me out just yet I haven't made my final decision on which to do yet.

PS - It's Jon btw....we met at the SR meet 1-2 months back. I had the fairly stock silver 996TT. I was hanging out with you and your friend with the NSX.

 

I agree with Jon (tunarollz)...T/H will always be around...there's tooooo many Porsche's driving in the freeway that morning and will clogged up Stevens Creek exit....now that's a sight to see

Jon, you are twisting my arm pretty damn good right now and you make a good point. I guess the only reason why I haven't made a firm decision is because do I want to track the car this year, or wait until next year giving me the winter to do some safety mods to it, I am now leaning more to the latter.

Then of course a 1999 C2 in between GT3RS's, TT's etc. is going to get lost.

But the amazement of seeing so many Porsche's in one place at one time and the reason for this event (Luis Aldaz...who I am not familiar with and what happened) is very compeling.
