MASHAW GT2 Bumper and GT2 Decklid/ CF blade
( I know many people have been speaking and asking about the quality of the replica parts out there. Allow me to do a full review of MASHAW as I feel this will help everyone contemplating the GT2 replica kits out there. Mike at Mashaw is a very honest and cool guy to do business with, called him on Monday, got the most amazing price EVER on these two pieces and received my products three days earlier than promised. The quality of the fitment is flawless and the type of FRP used is very strong, The Bumper is a one piece bumper with grill screens to use, The blade comes with everything you need, the harness included and a beautiful CF underside as well. The CF is flawless and very high Quality. The wing doesnt need much prep. It does require prep but not nearly as much as the bumper which took almost a week to be ready, needed to be primed and sanded down twice.
Overall Install of everything took about a week for a custom shop and normally costs 1500-2000 for everything done right. The ducts that the factory 996TT has can also be trimmed to fit so it has the OEM look. The one part that i am not so sure about are the screens. I like them they look good. I painted mine flat black along with the top duct but the problem is they turn silver quickly due to rock chips, so I am contemplating taking em out like the OEM GT2. Overall I couldnt be happier with the outcome and would have done this much earlier should I have know how HOT it would turn out. Thanks Mike
Below are some pictures of the car, please comment on how you like it...I am going to do a silver cage but havent decided which one yet...Car only has 27K on the ODO for an 01 and not a single chip/problem or anything...She might go back on sale at the end of summer with an extra 5K miles.

That's just beautiful - exactly what I have in mind for mine as well.
I can only imagine how good it feels to have it done.
Nice job!
Can you give me your impressions of how FRP is different than fiberglass and the standard bumper?

really strong fiberglass, feels like urethane (standard bumper) and just as solid to small taps and bumps...My shop guy said this was a great piece when it come to strenght

Your car looks great. I have been contemplating these mods for some time now, and was worried about the quality of the replicas, but this definitely sets my mind at ease.
Was the body shop that did the work a specialty shop, or can any body shop do this kind of work?
Again, congrats...your car looks excellent!!!

I am SO HAPPY you didn't sell it, because your car is insane in every way, and must be a BLAST to drive, as well as a treat to look at. Which GT2 front lip is that? I want it!!!!!
