Aluminum horseshoe for shifter

My car doesn't have the aluminum horseshoe around the shifter boot. Is this easily added? Where's the best place to get one?

TIA,

Bart

01-996-c4me,

Thanks! This looks to be exactly what I'm looking for. I have the stock standard shifter in the car at the moment. So your thinking this should work, right?

BTW, sorry to hear about your run-in with the deer this morning. I know exactly what's it's like to have a brand new car damaged early in its life

Im not sure this will work with the standard shifter. On the standard shifter the leather blends in with the shifter (one piece). On the other porsche shifters the boot and the ***** are seperate pieces....
