AutoCar's video review of the 991 GT3
Seeing as how Porsche has abandoned the 6-speed transmission in favor of the PDK to allow for broader appeal, I would suspect this would increase demand. Why would a manufacturer not take advantage of this increased demand and produce a product so long as Marginal Revenue > Marginal Cost? How does that directionally correlate to less production numbers?

It's a great car but Porsche saying the 997 GT3 must be manual and now they are saying that 991 GT3 must be PDK. I say it must be for profit therefore depending on sales they will do whatever.

I think I found the flaw...
Sounds like a company party line.
Lol. Very true. Dealers can tell you just anything. Well just have to see. And if Porsche really wanted to make money off the gt model cars then they would of made more then 14186 copy's from 1999-2012. Porsche depends on all the other models to make money on. Think about it, 997 gt3 rs 4.0 now they only made 600 of them and buy the time that car came out they were all sold. But porsche didn't care they wanted to keep that car special and only make 600.
Yes 911 models. In 2012 Porsche sold a little over 8000 in US and Canada. So 10% of 8000 is 800 GT3 cars. I would not consider that a lot.
