KW suspension module for PTTS

Has anyone installed the KW (or H&R) suspension modules for their Airride equipped PTT? I have a MY14 PTTS with PASM/airride and am aiming to lower the normal ride height by 10-15mm to complement some HRE wheels which have a slightly wider stance than the OE 20" wheels.

Unfortunately my dealer received a "defective" KW unit and is now negotiating with KW to order a replacement. The KW module was causing airbag suspension errors. I'm hopeful someone here has prior experience with KW and a MY14 car and will tell me it's going to be ok -- I've been without my beast for 4 weeks and am beyond agitated at how long this process is taking.

I understand your frustration...but when its done please post some side view pics. I love the look of my car when PASM is lower in sport plus, its looks longer and oh so good.

I went with the lowering links vs the module... Low tech and very cost effective option that is fairly OEM in concept (just adjust the links that tell the sensor on air susp how low to lower it). Good luck however as it would be nice to be able to adjust height at will / on the fly... Let us know how it works out

I am currently using the renntech lowering module on my PTT, been over a year and not a single error. It's the same as the KW without the wireless control. I can control the module using my android phone since they have an app for it. H&R module are not adjustable, it gives a fixed drop.

Oh wow - didn't realize that... I thought the "control" was the value in the modules vs lowering links...

By the way - my dealer installed the fvd lowering links in about an hour... Can adjust for a fixed drop with air suspension / sport mode up to 2" from regular sport mode height

I went with links initially at first too but swapped them out for the module. Much more control vs having to go under the car every time you need adjust the height.

Ya - that would be very sweet to adjust height from an app...

If you know how to use PIWIS tester you can lower the car with no additional units. I did it myself.

No I don't run her that low... I run about 1" lower in the rear and .75" lower in the front than the original height in sport plus (see pic of my fixed height I run in sp). You can however technically go 2.5" lower than stock height with the links but I haven't performance tested it this low but do know it can be done without it hitting the wheel wells at under 5 mph
