As MOST people say, do what makes you happy.
However, I think it's smart to consider in advance the reaction that a plate is likely to cause in others.
Will it make them smile?
Will it make them laugh?
Will it make them think you're clever?
Will it make them roll their eyes and think you're a ******?
The magic happens when you can get a smile and a nod of appreciation. A Vanq isn't a slapstick car, so I wouldn't go for that. Look for something that matches the car: solid muscle in a tuxedo, with a wink and a wry smile...
