Vibration on high speed

HI guys i have Strange question ! does the rear brakes makes vibration on high speed like 70 mph without hitting the brake pedal ?? If not , what if I use aftermarket brakes ?

I know this weird question, but i have vibration on 70 mph and my tires and rims nothing bad with them i checked them out and everything is good

Did this just start to happen after doing the brakes? Does the pedal pulse when you step on it? Does the vibration go away if you go faster? Could be many different things. You need to be more specific to try and figure it out.

well ceramics cant warp as far as i know so you need to look elsewhere. Are you sure you don't have a bent rim? How many miles on the car? Did this just start to happen after any type of work done to the car?

If you rule out a bent rim. I think the next check would be a sticky callipers.

I would also check the wheel balance.

Motor mount, transmission mount, tires...3 of my guesses if you already checked the rims.

Checking the rims, depending on who did the checking isn't always created equal. If you feel it only when you hit the brakes it is pretty obvious something is going on with that.

Otherwise I would get the rear wheels road force balanced. Normally they can tell pretty quick if there is something wrong with a wheel / tire during that process.

I had an alignment bolt in the rear that would go out of spec no matter how much it was tightened. I ended up putting Tarrant Lock plates to replace those and adjustable toe links. The car going out of spec would wear the rear tire strangely, which would cause a vibration in my seat.
